22. Tricky part -- Look up top in your address bar. The
rightmost 7 digits are your new event ID number.
Copy those seven digits and paste over the old event ID number with the
new event ID number.
23. Click [Save Detail]
24. You may add additional details, such as seminar dates,
training tips, etc.
25. To change prices, under Registration Categories, click the
category whose price you want to change.
Click Price/Close Dates. Change or add prices. Click [Save
Settings]. NOTE: After you click [Save Settings], the screen appears
unchanged. But the settings get saved.
26. In the upper right hand corner of any screen, click LOGOUT
26.2 Now you can add a link to the new event to other
pages. By default, Active.com pages contain ads.
You can defeat the ads by using this construct:
http://www.active.com/framed/event_detail.cfm?event_id=EEEEEEE
where EEEEEEE is the event number, e.g.
http://www.active.com/framed/event_detail.cfm?event_id=1721229
which is the 2009 MCP Spring Training Program that I just created ...
and linked to AR109
so it's up'n'running. We can adjust the prices before we
advertise it.
